Updates: Two Top Politicians From President Ruto's Rift Valley Backyard Ditch his UDA Party

Two too Politicians from His Excellency the Head of State president William Ruto's Rift Valley backyard have ditched his United Democratic Alliance movement Party.

The two who are seeking to succeed the current Cabinet Secretary in charge of the Ministry of Transport CS Kipchumba Murkomen in the Elgeyo Marakwet debate seat have revealed the new parties they will use in the by-elections.

The two are renown Real Estate Developer and defender of His Excellency the Head of State Tim Kipchumba and activist Jerotich Seii who were defeated in the UDA party primaries that happened last week.

Kipchumba is contesting under The Party for Peace and Development (a Kenya Kwanza affiliate Party) while Seii will fly the Safina Party flag in the race.

They have successfully managed to get cleared by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission hence they will be facing off with the politician who defeated them in the UDA nominations.

Former Marakwet West MP William Kisang won the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party ticket defeating 20 other aspirants to be declared winner by UDA county returning officer Nicodemus Bore after he garnered 28,136 votes.

Mr Timothy Kipchumba and Jonathan Tanui tied at the second position after they l each got 26,766 votes.
