Ruto Finally Reveals What Broke His Friendship With President Kenyatta

On Friday, Deputy President William Ruto took his 2022 campaigns to Kakamega county accompanied by his Hustler Nation brigade.

Speaking to locals at Shinyalu, Kakamega county on Friday, the DP lifted the lid on what set him on a collision course with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

According to Ruto, his resistance to amend the 2010 constitution via BBI is the reason why his relationship with Kenyatta deteriorated.

"Let me tell you, my relationship with those people (Uhuru & Raila) turned sour because I rejected reggae (BBI). I questioned them as to why they want to amend the constitution to create positions yet over 4M youths are unemployed...which one is the priority?" Ruto posed.

It's not a secret that President Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto no longer see eye to eye like before.

However, the reason behind their bad relationship recently has remained a subject of speculation until today.

BBI, which Ruto claims is the sole reason his relationship with Kenyatta collapsed was stopped by the Court, after it was declared unconstitutional.
