More trouble has been dealt to Nakuru County governor Susan Kihika after the labor court has overturned the appointment she made on the ten County Executive committee (CEC) members.
Kihika had been taken to court by Magare Gikenyi over claims of having made the appointments on a biased ground. Being a metropolitan county with people from different communities, they were looking forward for Kihika to observe equality and proper representation of people under her leadership.

Since the case filed against Kihika has gone through, she has been mandated to start the process afresh all over again as the first move has been considered to be illegal and skewed. It is a hard time for her as most county governors have already appointed CECs who are assisting them deliver their promises and services to their supporters.
Kihika became the first female governor of Nakuru County after she defeated her close opponent and incumbent Lee Kinyanjui when she ran on a UDA party ticket.
