Hon. Oscar Sudi has hinted through his official facebook page alleging that Governor Jackson Mandago should give the county a break of 5 years for them to audit and compare his leadership with that of the incoming Governor.
According to Hon. Oscar Sudi Governor Jackson Mandago should stay away from the county so that they can see if he has performed well or not.
Here is what Hon. Oscar Sudi shared on his official facebook page alleging that Governor Jackson Mandago!
"Uasin Gichu County government has been receiving an average of 8.2B every financial year since devolution started in 2013. The county collects more than 1.1B from its own source revenue every year translating to a total budget of 9.3B.
The county spends 5B in it's recurrent expenditure while development takes the remaining 4B. Since 2013 the county has received close to 40B budget meant for development projects. Bearing in mind that Uasin Gishu County has 6 sub-counties therefore each sub county is expected to receive 6.6B on development budget for the 10 years of devolution.
I don't want to ask about the rest of the sub-counties but am interested in Kapseret sub-county. All I can see in Kapseret are county projects totalling less than 1B.
With my small budget of NG-CDF I can account for projects worth more than 800M across Kapseret Constituency this is after deducting the bursaries in the kitty.
I still have a lot to share only that it's a matter of time before we unravel the truth and mysteries surrounding county monies.
This is why am asking Gov. Jackson Mandago to give us a break of 5 years for us to audit and compare his leadership with that of the incoming Governor.
