Mudavadi Says What He's Been Doing For Raila That He's Now Planning to do For Ruto

ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi now says that himself and his Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Wetangula are the people behind the success ODM leader Raila Odinga has been recording in Western during polls.

The two leaders have both supported Ruto twice, and he now claims that they are the reason why the former Prime Minister has been performing very well in the region when it comes to votes and support.

Speaking on Monday, he stated that Raila has, instead of being thankful, repaid them with betrayal, and they now plan on delivering the region to Deputy President William Ruto, their new ally.

Speaking in Limuru, the former Vice President promised to use the tactics they've been using for Raila to help Ruto record similar results, vowing to hand him 90 percent of the Western Kenya vote.

"We have been backing Raila's presidential bid and we delivered that 90 per cent, but he left us hanging," the leader, a co-principal in Ruto's Kenya Kwanza, is quoted by The Star.

He added that himself and Wetangula have Western Kenya in their hands and will surpass the required 70 percent, which Ruto has reportedly given them as a condition for 30 percent of his government.

"I and Wetangula are here, we have consolidated Western Kenya. 70 per cent is way less, we will bring 90 per cent" added the leader.

This comes amid reports that Ruto has also promised to make him Chief Cabinet Secretary and Wetangula the National Assembly Speaker if they deliver.
