Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has now been made aware of the repercussions should he choose to self-inscribe at his concurrent Jamhuri Day Event.

The Party's Chairman Chirau Ali Makwere stated in a statement shared on Twitter by Kenyans.co.ke that if Raila follows through on his plan to take the oath himself during the occasion, he will be returning the nation to anarchy since he is inciting unwarranted conflict.
Makwere contends that the ODM leader ought to focus on carrying out his legal obligation to oversee the government rather than inflaming things unnecessarily.
"What will he do next, take the oath of office? He will return us to anarchy since there is nothing to be gained by escalating animosity in the nation. You cannot overthrow Ruto's current position as president by organizing a separate rally, "Makwere stated.
Makwere further requested that Honorable Kalonzo Musyoka, remove himself from the incident, claiming that it would upset the nation's peace and tranquility.
