
President William ruto has already landed at the cbd for a function which has also been attended by various leaders including former cabinet secretary Chelugui. This is the first official function that the president is attending since he landed back into the country from his foreign tours.

Today's meeting bringing together several stakeholders from the Ministry of Agriculture and also trade who have been keen on ensuring that investments and businesses in the country continue to run without any major hiccup.
The major point of Focus today will be licensing which has become a major hindrance for many business start-ups with the president promising to have a look at the situation.
For the speakers who have addressed the meeting have a lamented on the high cost of power together with the high cost of licensing which according to them is chasing investors out of the country.
Ruto is also expected to address the meeting with his point of Focus being on how he intends to bring down the cost of licensing and power in the country.
