Alfred Keter was awarded a UDA party certificate after emerging victorious in UDA party nominations and he promised that he will fulfill his promises if elected in the August polls. He further declared that some people did not want him to win the battle but the people of Nandi hills believe in his leadership and he is ready to deliver to them.
However, fresh details emerge that his competitor Benard Kibor is planning to do to him after being given a UDA ticket. Kibor has filed a case against him and he has paid a total of Ksh 100000 to a UDA officer in Nairobi that will hear he complaint. Kibor declared that Keter did not win the battle fairly and he suspected that he did something to deny him a win. It is believed that some of Ruto's close allies were pushing to kick out Keter simply because he has been attacking Deputy President Ruto and he will be considered a mole if he joins the UDA party.
