Juja Member of Parliament, Francis Munyua Waititu alias Wakapee is dead. His family confirmed that the legislator succumbed to brain cancer on Monday evening at MP Shah hospital, Nairobi. Waititu had been battling with cancer since 2018. It began with a death in the family then a challenge to go for a medical check up and then the bombshell.
Friends and colleagues have sent there condolences to his family who must be having a tough time losing a father to 4 and a husband to one.
President Uhuru Kenyatta also mourns Waititu's death: " we've sadly lost another progressive, trusted and committed leader whose public actions reflected the interests of his constituents.
Kenyans are worried with what's happening with our politicians where we are losing governors and MPs to illnesses. More worries as the deceased revealed that there are 62 other Members of Parliament battling with cancer yet the government had it as they are only aware of 10 .
