Azimio top member and a leader of minority Hon Opiyo Wandayi, has today broken silence and stated that their party is disappointed after President Ruto's remarks on food security in our country.
The Azimio ally has warned that the President should stop the humiliation and instead find a lasting solution to food security in our country.
"Azimio is dissappointed with President Ruto, for reducing food security concern to that of a joke about GMOs and breasts. We are asking the President not to mock the diginty of Kenyans struggling to put food on the table. This humiliation should stop." Opiyo Wandayi quoted.
This comes after President Ruto said that Kenyans have been using food from the GMOs but it has not affected them. The president joked that he has been using the GMO food but he has not grown breast.
The statement however, seems not to go well with the opposition as they express their dissappointment.
