Former Mandera Central Constituency member of parliament Hon Abdikadir Mohammed has weighed in on the increasing Building Bridges Initiative BBI debate.
The veteran politician was making his remarks after former Mukuruweini member of parliament Kabando wa Kabando accused Uhuru-Raila of allegedly forcing the BBI drive on Kenyans.
In his reaction, Abdikadir said the BBI proponents have already underestimated the chances of BBI being shoot down.
He argued that it would not be a easy task for BBI proponents to get over 24 counties in support of the drive as it is required before a referendum.
He further said convincing majority of Kenyans to vote in support of BBI during a referendum will also not be walk in the park unless some other dirty means is used to pass the drive.
"Chairman...our #Bbi brothers believe getting half the Counties and 50% of Bunge to approve is a walk in the park... thereafter a simple majority of the "people" should not be hard to organise... mta do[email protected] @governorkibwana @DavidNdii @davidmakali1 @MarthaKarua" Abdikadir Mohammed stated.
