Why DP Ruto Will Be Handed An Early Presidential Win If OKA Principals And ODM Leader Won't Unite

The next presidential election will be a highly contested one with more than three candidates showing interests of running for presidency.

The current political pressure has led to the formation of One Kenya Alliance (OKA) and United Democratic Alliance (UDA) with both sides having plans of fielding their own candidate.

There is a good reason why DP Ruto will be handed an early win if his opponents from OKA and ODM party leader Raila Odinga won't unite.

First, DP Ruto has gained more followers and supporters since he formed his own alliance away from president Uhuru's shadow. There are clear signs of DP Ruto winning given that the recent poll conducted by Radio Africa indicated that he was ahead with 43% while his opponents followed at a distance.

Without embracing unity amongst themselves, OKA principals and Raila Odinga will be making a huge mistake that will make them regret in the future. They need to settle their differences as early as possible if they want to secure the seat of presidency.
