Kimilili member of parliament Didmus Barasa has been forced to apologize after attending an event in the region on Friday.
The UDA lawmaker who is a close ally to president William Ruto says that he has unreservedly apologized after Punda primary school missed chance to host junior primary school.
This is as the school lacks the 5 classrooms which are required to used by the students.
Barasa has however promised to build the 5 classes which will enable reintroduce the junior primary school in punda primary.

“I apologized unreservedly to the people of punda primary school for missing out on selection to host junior secondary school due to lack of classrooms.we registered the school with moe in 2021 and we've now bought one and a half acres of land so that the contractor can erect 5 more classrooms in order for the government to reintroduce the junior secondary school and save the pupils from travelling more than 5 kilometers to bituyu & lwanda jsss.” Barasa has said after the Friday event.
