As the next general election approaches, presidential candidates vying to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta are restructuring themselves in preparation for the contentious presidential race.
Together with allies friends, they have been energetically campaigning around the nation in an effort to bolster their political bases.
Musalia Mudavadi, the leader of the ANC, has stated that President Uhuru Kenyatta assured him that he and Raila Odinga will retire together after the August elections.
"Wewe Uhuru siku ile tukiwa na Moses Wetangula, ulisema ya kwamba Raila Odinga and you will resign, sisi Kenya Kwanza tutashinda uchaguzi ujao, "Musalia Mudavadi remarked.
President Uhuru Kenyatta is the chairperson of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance, the party that Raila is using to run for president in August elections.
According to reports, President Uhuru Kenyatta would not campaign for Raila Odinga in the Mt. Kenya region since doing so would make Raila Odinga a project.
