Mwagaza is the first Women Governor to be impeached after the August 9 general elections in 2022. However, 67 out of 69 Members of the County Assembly of Meru voted yes to the Impeachment Motion.
Now all eyes are on the senate Kawira mwangaza Waits at least seven days to allow Speaker Amason Kingi to require the convene of the house for a sitting to hear Mwagaza's impeachment charges.
UDA Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu has reacted through her Official Facebook page saying that she's ready to save her fellow women but she waiting to hear the impeachment justification first.
Through her Facebook page, the Nominated Senator wrote, "My first instinct is to save the embattled woman governor. (Yes I said, woman governor) But let us hear the impeachment justification first."
Her post received mixed reactions from Netizens:

If they fail to forgive her for her sins that doesn't earn her the title ', embattled woman governor'... She messed and I remember you warning her two months ago against fighting with the MCAs,et her feel the heat."
