
On Wednesday evening, His Excellency the former vice President Musalia Mudavadi met severa top leaders from the Western Kenya region.
He has noted that he met a team of leaders who are currently serving as county chiefs in their respective counties in the western Kenya region.
Among the top leaders is the Orange Democratic Movement ODM elected governor for Kakamegae county His Excellency Fernandes Barasa.

Others in the meeting include Ford Kenya elected governor for Bungoma county who is also the former Senate speaker Ken Lusaka.
In the meeting, Wilberforce Kitiezo, the Deputy Governor of Vihiga County represented the governor with Musalia Mudavadi noting that the Governors agreed on working together on development matters.
He has also noted that he impressed on the leaders from the region being each others keeper.
The governors on their part, requested Treasury to expedite disbursements to counties for them to carter for pending bills. The meeting agreed that nonpayment is likely to wipe out entrepreneurs in the region.
