Corruption is one of the enemies of economic progress to most developing countries. In Kenya, various organizations have been formed to address this "monster" that have hindered development for many years. This includes Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission (EACC), Assets Recovery Agencies among others.
President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta has been on the Frontline in the fight against corruption and he once revealed that about Ksh 2 billion is the amount lost to corrupt ways. Today, Kenya lost one of the legendary leader Hon Charles Njonjo, a Mzee who served in government for a long time as a minister.
The late Njonjo's Message about corruption resurfaced online few hours after his demise. According to a post shared by Tuko news on Facebook, he said that Unless you yourself are clean, cannot talk about corruption with conviction.
