Gatundu South member of parliament Hon. Moses Kuria Is one of Deputy president William Ruto's allies, Kuria is an ardent supporter of Ruto and has always said he is fully behind Ruto's presidential bid, Kuria has even warned Raila of banking on mount Kenya votes.
However, I don't see Kuria's support for Ruto genuine, this was evident in the just concluded by-elections, Kuria fielded candidates to battle it out with Ruto's UDA candidates, after the lose, Kuria on his social media pages bragged how his party candidates gave Jubilee and UDA a run for their money.

Kuria went ahead to promise to face off with other parties in the upcoming by-elections in Juja, Garissa, Rurii ward and Bonchari Constituency. UDA has already called for Applications from candidates to fly their tickets in these by-elections.
If at at all Kuria's support for Ruto is genuine, he should help Ruto build the United Democratic Alliance party, the party Ruto is likely to contest the presidency with, he is not supposed to compete with his boss.
