Curiously, during the event, the likes of Mudavadi, who have always used the failures of the Government to criticize Ruto and Uhuru, did not mention either of the leaders in bad light.
The Mt Kenya foundation, has since pledged their allegiance to the One Kenya Alliance leaders but not without some conditions.
In deed, according to the group's vice chairperson Titus Ibui, Uhuru was more than a leader to the group.
He went on to add that they referred to Uhuru as muthamaki, which stands for the annointed one. Hence, his status deserved much more respect.
Hence, if any of the One Kenya Alliance leaders dared to speak Ill about Uhuru, they would loose the support of the Mt Kenya foundation. "OKA, respect the president."
"If you don't respect Uhuru and call him names, the people of Mt Kenya will not be with you." "Uhuru to us, is more than a leader he is a Muthamaki." Titus said.
Earlier, Mudavadi had changed tune on Uhuru, praising him for the infrastructure he had developed which was rare for the ANC leader.
