Recently Nominated Top PS in Trouble as Court is Told How be Beat Up Heavily Pregnant Wife

Troubles for president William Ruto's principal secretary nominee to the department of Cabinet Affairs Julius are far from over after the court was yesterday given an account of he assaulted a heavily pregnant wife.

Giving her side of the story to the court, Evelyne Koech, the estranged wife of the principal secretary was firm that Mr Korir beat her to a pulp three days before she delivered their second child.

Evelyne Koech narrated that she was putting their first - born child to sleep when her husband ( Julius Korir ) violently entered the children's asking for food. "Leo utaniona, wapi chakula?. Before I even answered, he descended on me with kicks and slaps. I was just trying to protect my unborn child," Evelyn told the court.

Mr Korir allegedly went on with the assault and tore Mrs Evelyn's before brandishing a 'rungu' and descending ok her again. The workers has allegedly been threatened to interfere with the family affair.

Mr Evelyn says she all the medical evidences indicating that she was assalted. Mr Korir is said to have later called local church pastors to broker a truce between them. Korir has been charged with assalt.
