The covid 19 pandemic has greatly affected the the country of Kenya. It has caused numerous deaths, poor economy, financial constraints which has resulted to the country having great debts.
The government recently brought a vaccine which all Kenyans should be injected to prevent them from Containing the disease. Some Kenyans volunteered and were vaccinated.
The Kenya National Union of Teachers chair from Turkana Branch has released a message saying that the Kenya National Union of Teachers members from Turkana will not be vaccinated. The Officer said that Teachers will be vaccinated after the Kenya government officials have been injected.
This is sad news to the government. This is because, the covid 19 disease is greatly spreading. Therefore, if Teachers will not agree to be vaccinated, then there are greatly chances of the disease spreading in schools among Teachers and learners. The government is therefore advised to look for a relevant solution to the problem.
