President William Ruto is set to finally share the same stage with his long time political foe Dr. Fred Matiangi. The two have not seen each other eye to eye despite working closely in President Uhuru’s government.
The former interior cabinet secretary however, is set to finally eat a humble pie and join Ruto’s side. According to reliable sources, Ruto was indirectly involved in the dropping of his case by DPP.
Reports now have emerged that Matiangi is warming up for a possible handshake with the head of state. According to reports, the handshake will happen in Kisii when the president visits the region later on this month.

Reports further suggests the two will arrive at the event’s location together while gracing the homecoming of Education CS Machogu on March 24th.
This comes just a day after Matiangi met Machogu alongside several Gusii leaders. The main agenda of the meeting was to reconcile Matiangi with Ruto as well as plan the Gusii event.
