Ex - Mombasa governor Hassan Joho has raised eyebrows with speculations rife of a possible rift with current governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir. It has been noted that the ex-county chief deleted all the photo's that they took with Nassir from his instagram account. Only three photos of him with the governor have remained in his profile. These are photos taken during the unveiling of the NHIF medical cover for 13, 000 Mvita residents.
Nassir was asked a number of questions by the media regarding their relationship with the ex-governor. On whether he talked with him before making the appointments, he said, "No, we never had a conversation with the governor."
On the case of Joho deleting their photos, Nassir said that he wasn't aware of that and even questioned when was the last time he posted their photos online. Nassir then asks the people to let Joho rest as he was no longer in politics.
But the biggest question is the reason that might have prompted Joho to remove Nassir's photos. Is he bitter maybe? But if so, why would he be bitter?
