Homabay town Constituency member of parliament Hon. Peter Opondo Kaluma has endorsed justice Wiliam Ouko for the Judiciary Presidency. Kaluma has stated that Justice Ouko is the best candidate to take over the leadership of the judiciary considering his vast knowledge of the judicial system.
Kaluma who is also a practicing lawyer, has described Justice Ouko as a deeply knowledgeable, humble, and experienced. Kaluma added that the positions Ouko has held in the judiciary makes him know where the judiciary should go to.
"William Ouko is deeply knowledgeable, humble and experienced! Having served as a Magistrate, Judge, Chief Court Administrator, Chief Court Registrar, Judge of Appeal and President of the Court of Appeal, he knows where the Judiciary was, is and should go!" Kaluma posted on his Twitter handle.
Justice Wiliam Ouko become the eighth candidate to be interviewed by the Judicial service commission, he has been endorsed by several Kenyans and politicians. Tommorow the Judicial service commission will be interviewing the next candidate even as the High court ordered suspended the process of appointing the next chief justice.
