The Deputy President William Ruto was forced to just watch the unending Political dramas in Kirinyaga County during his tour in Kianyaga after the residents publicly took sides between the Current Governor Ann Waiguru and the Women Representative Purity Ngirici
The differences between the two leaders were made public after the residents hailed their preferred leader when they were given a chance to address them. When Waiguru was speaking, a section of residents chanted Ngirici's name as they hold her posters.
When It's was Ngirici's time to speak, hundreds of the youths bursted into singing and Jubilation as they chant her name. The Deputy President William Ruto just observe as the residents indirectly pass their message
There has been war of words between Waiguru and Ngirici after the former Decamped from the ruling Jubilee party, joining the United Democratic Alliances. This seemed to have complicated Ngirici's Matrix of securing the party's Gubernatorial ticket. Ngirici Criticized Waiguru for joining UDA after the failure of the Building bridges initiative.
