Siaya governor aspirant Nicholas Gumbo and his running mate David Ohito's motorcade stoned by rowdy youths in Bondo.
The duo were attending Azimio campaigns when their motorcade was attacked. They were prevented from thronging the rally. Gumbo is vying for the governor seat on a UDM ticket.
Following the incident, Gumbo posted on Twitter that, "the case has been sent to the police for the suspects to be arrested."
ODM party boss Raila Odinga on Saturday took his campaigns in Siaya County.
Also at the rally were Siaya Senator James Orengo, MP Oburu Odinga and Rarieda MP Otieno Amollo.
Raila pledged to provide support capital for the poor and all mothers if he is voted the fifth president of Kenya in August 9.
While talking to the congregants at the rally, Orengo told DP Ruto to refrain from copy-pasting Azimio.
