As the Kiambaa Constituency by-election race hits the final stages, Jubilee Party and United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party have been tipped to push each other in a race that has attracted the attention of political analysts who have gone ahead to make caricatures illustrating the party opinion polls.
Jubilee party is believed to have an upper hand since the by-election is being held in their political backyard. However, the political wave have seemingly changed in favour of the UDA party which is associated with the deputy president William Ruto.
UDA has become very popular in Mt. Kenya region in a way that it has threatened the existence of Jubilee party. At the moment, Jubilee have lost several Parliamentary and County Assembly seats to UDA, a development that have caused fear in Uhuru Kenyatta's camp.
The political challenges in Jubilee Party have also brought about questions on whether the party is still popular or not.
