Tanzania President Pombe Magufuli Legacy Will be Stained by Three Things - Kithure Kindiki

Tharaka Nithi Senator Kithure Kindiki mow says President Pombe Magufuli legacy will be stained by three things. 

Through his official Facebook page Kindiki said open deslike for Kenya and his efforts to undermine science are among the things 

"President Magufuli’s otherwise bright legacy will however be stained by three things his nearly open deslike for Kenya & a strong EAC, his efforts to undermine science in the face of a devastating pandemic despite him being a scientist and his contribution to the constraints on civil liberties and democracy in his country," said the Tharaka Nithi Senator.

Kindiki is a staunch supporter of the deputy president William Samoei Ruto's 2022 presidential bid.

His post recieved mixed reactions here are some of their comments.

Jm Mapesa wrote "Professor, Magufuli didn't hate Kenya.He only disliked the corrupt Aristocrats , including some of your political accolades.Revisit his speeches on several occasions he toured Kenya.He made enemies who were scared of a rising Tanzania.He had one or two friends.He never saw any need of a corrupt regional block being spearheaded by Thieves and Thugs,"

Amos Amos wrote "What is there to like about Kenya, considering her government? You also don't like Kenya right now, maybe in the future. Then, Mr sir, you aren't speaking about jubilee; it's a patriot and a man Loved by all of us. So you better f*kn' shut up,"

Julius Arungah wrote "Prof with respect I disagree on 1and 3. First it's very difficult to even like Kenya with our rottenness. See the confusion that prevails in your country due to undefined civil liberties largely based on half baked information,"

Odero Gerald says "But he advanced the interests of his people which matters most than democracy, corruption and indisciplined political class,"
