ODM Governor Meets Ruto at State House Moments After Skipping The Kamukunji Rally

Kenyans have shown concerns after big names skipped the Azimio rally at Kamukunji grounds. The rally was graced by top Azimio politicians led by Raila Odinga, Martha Karua and Kalonzo Musyoka.

Kisumu Governor, Anyang Nyong'o, is among the top Azimio politicians who skipped Raila's rally at the Kamukunji grounds.

It has now emerged that the governor attended a meeting convened by CS Alfred Mutua which also brought together Rt Hon James Cleverly the United Kingdom's secretary of State for foreign, commonwealth and development affairs.

Other senior people who attended the meeting include; Hon Moses Kuria and Dr Korir Sing'oei.

"We explored avenues of enhancing collaboration and strengthening the existing bilateral relations and later witnessed the signing of a letter of intent on United Green Projects, signed by Hon Moses Kuria and Prof Anyang Nyong'o," read part of a statement by CS Mutua.

After this meeting, Governor Nyong'o together with the cabinet secretaries went ahead to meet president William Ruto at State House. Prime cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi was also present.
