Narok Senator Ledama Olekina has revealed why the Akamba and the Kikuyu Communities should not celebrate the two popular Presidential candidates' decision to choose a running mate from their regions ilgiblving a clear explanation in support of his remarks.
The Narok Senator has said that despite the Kamba and the Kikuyu Communities' be pushing to be offered a running post inside DP Ruto and Raila Odinga's government, what should be understood is that the Position of Deputy President is the most underrated one and that it has no powers with it.
Senator Ledama has said that a Deputy is only good while they are in a good relationship with the boss but when everything goes south, then he turns into a useless leader who cannot even appoint a chief.
According to the Senator, he has said that Kenyans should avoid being tribal on who should take which position minding that the Deputy position is not worthy of celebration.
"Straight talk:- A deputy is only good if there is Synergy otherwise….? Can a deputy even employ a chief? If we remain tribal-like we always do how will a deputy help your tribe?" Narok Senator Ledama Olekina has said.
