Other than the Presidential and Gubernatorial race, the Senatorial race will also be stiffer with the competition from fierce rivals who want to be reelected after serving for one term by some leaders, and others who want to vie and clinch these seats.
Laikipia County senatorial race will be interesting as one female leader will go head to head to at least more than five male candidates who are seeking for this top seat.
In the conducted polls, current seating Senator John Kinyua is expected to clinch the seat again as he got 30.7 per cent of the votes. Surprisingly, Jane Ptunoi came in second place with 22.1 per cent of votes.
Henry Kimani got in third position with 17.7 per cent, and the rest of the aspirants fell below the 10 per cent mark.
Who will be the favourite for Laikipia County senatorial role?
