President William Ruto has recently advocated for Kenyans not to be afraid to ensure his Government toes the line. Ruto was quick to congratulate Law Society of Kenya boss Eric Theuri, who took strongly fought against the vetting of principal secretaries.
Theuri was concerned about the procedure undertaken by the President in the vetting of the principal secretaries. However, Ruto managed to win against the LSK boss with the court ruling that not all options had been undertaken by the LSK boss to settle the dispute before moving to court. During a recent press conference, Ruto was quick to recognize Theuri, the lawyer who had taken him to court and the President used that moment to congratulate him.
Ruto did not stop there as he sent a subtle criticism towards ODM leader Raila Odinga who has warned that he would mobilize his supporters to demonstrate against the Government. "I am very happy to see Eric Theuri who took me to court." "I am happy to see that he did not organize demonstrations because he did not win." Ruto said in what was a direct attack against ODM leader Raila Odinga.
