Awiti Outcry On Being Denied Space For Billboards, - Alleges Raila Odinga Might Lose Votes On This

It is an electioneering period for Kenya and Kenyans. Everyone is looking forward to this moment in the ballot. Every Kenyan has a democratic right to vote for their preferred candidate.

Independent Electoral and boundaries Commission has stated it clearly that all candidates should be given an enabling environment to sell their political agenda to the people.

However, some as former Nyali MP Awiti Alleges that the playfield is not leveled for all the candidates. He has made allegations that the Governor of Mombasa, Joho Hassan has denied him space to mount his Campaign Billboards.

He has further stated that he has tried seeking the attention of IEBC and the Media In Vain. In his address, he has advised Raila Amollo Odinga who is party leader for the Orange Democratic Movement party and also doubles up as the flagbearer of Azimio la Umoja One Kenya alliance not to impose any leader on the residents of Mombasa but to allow people to choose. This idea of imposing leaders might see Raila Odinga losing votes ahead of the general elections on August 9th.

Kenyans have reacted to his remarks with mixed comments.
