Deputy president William Ruto ended his three days tour to Raila Odinga's Nyanza bedroom where he mainly visited Kisumu, Homa Bay and Migori counties. Ruto who was overwhelmed by the warm welcome from Raila's turf promised to visit the region over and over again.
Ruto in tours, requested the locals to join United Domocratic Alliance party which he said is the only national political party in Kenya today. Ruto said jubilee party currently is dead and is being sold to ODM party as a scrap metal a head of next year's election.
Ruto also requested president Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition chief to support his bid saying that he had supported them in the previous election. He said it was Raila's fault not taking over the 2007 presidency when everything was clear that he won.
In his tours to the nyanza region, William Ruto was not accompanied by any sitting member of parliament as the region is perceived to be opposition region. Only ODM governor, Zacharia Okoth Obado was in the campaign trail. Obado who is serving his last term as governor as declared his support for the deputy president.
However speculations high as photos going viral showing the deputy president William Ruto and Homa Bay women representative Gladys Wanga wearing the same colour of cloths, same makeup, same styles, same day. Is she joining William Ruto's Tanga tanga movement from Raila turf region?
Was it just a coincidence that when William Ruto was having a rally in migori Wanga was also in a separate function in Migori same day? or was it Wanga who organised William Ruto's tour in Homa bay? It's a matter of time for such questions to get answers.
Mean while share with us your opinion based on the photos going viral of Gladys Wanga and William Ruto spotted with same colour of cloths same day. What will be the political impact suppose Wanga join Ruto?
