Presidential race is set to be won by either UDA candidate William Ruto, ODM leader Raila Odinga, Roots party candidate George Wajackoya and Waihiga. IEBC under Wafula Chebukati is ensuring that the stage is ready to ensure free and fair election in the country come August general election.
One month is remaining to hold the election exercise where we will see who will lead the race between these four people. Presidential debate has not yet done where the four candidates will meet on table to participate in a national debate to air some of their agendas. An online poll by Kenyans.co.ke has been conducted on the most preferred journalist in the country to hold the debate. The list had Citizen TV journalists Linus Kaikai and Yvonne Okwara, KTN representative Sophia Wanuna, NTV's Joe Ogeyo.
The poll has 21,713 participants. According to the latest online results by Kenyans.co.ke, Yvonne Okwara of Citizen Tv is leading the race with 49%. Joe Ageyo comes third with 18% while Linus Kaikai emerges third with 17%. Sophia Wanuna comes fourth in the race with a total of 16%. From this poll, Okwara is the most preferred journalist to host the presidential debate in the country. The debate is set to be held in the country before August 9th general election.
