Immediately after arriving on Sunday Uhuru was received by Belgium's King Philippe at the Royal Palace. Later, He held talks with Charles Michel the President of the European Union(EU) whereby they agreed on many issues concerning Kenya's relationship with the EU and the Kenya-Belgium business.
On the other hand, the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga who has been in a good relationship with the president since the handshake hosted Mhiniwa Johannes Mahlangu who is South Africa's High Commissioner to Kenya yesterday in Nairobi. Odinga revealed on his Twitter account that they discussed numerous issues including strengthening of trade between the two nations, supporting multi literalism at the UN and AU, and joining hands to support peace and stability in Africa and across the world.
In my opinion, it is important to hear our leaders moving abroad, and holding meetings meant to benefit us in terms of development and peace.
