
Mutahi Ngunyi is one of the most popular leader in Kenya. He is also a close ally of former prime Minister Raila Odinga and Nark Kenya leader Martha Karua. Mutahi Ngunyi has praised Kikuyu after voting William Samoei Ruto as the president of Kenya. He has posted the following message in his official twitter account. "Dear Kikuyus: I think you gamble well. You have 30 percent of the government. Make use of the next five years. Ruto is a generous man."
Mutahi Ngunyi is was one critic of President William Samoei Ruto presidential bid. William Samoei Ruto managed more than fifty percent of the total votes cast. He also got majority of votes in Mount Kenya and Rift valley region. Former president Uhuru Kenyatta comes from Mount Kenya region but endorsed former prime Minister Raila Odinga presidential bid.
