They say what has a good start deserves a good ending, this might not be the case for the outgoing Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission chairperson Wafula Chebukati who showed up today in his last meeting as the commission chair.
It's much easier to stay that the chair ended his tenure with the best track marking the history of Kenyan politics. With more reflections on the last general elections which had nearly caused sleepless nights to Kenyans, his qualities were muchly observed in how he conducted the election counting and announcement of the presidential results despite the pressure being put on him by some part of his commissioners.
Chebukati has praised himself on what he did in the month of the election, he has also told where he was when the other counterparts were looking for him.
"For those who were looking for me in the electioneering period, I was just at home relaxing with my family as I take my drinks." He told the media.
