Today, president Uhuru Kenyatta has once again taken a swipe at his deputy. According to him, deputy president William Ruto is just making noise instead of helping him to work for Kenyans. He said that during the Ushirika Day celebrations and also added that what Ruto is promising that he will do, he had the opportunity to do it in eight years.
However, the sentiments have not been taken lightly by Ruto's camp. A section of them have slammed the president. The latest one is the outgoing Laikipia county women representative honourable Cate Waruguru. On her official Facebook page, she has said that what is making the president angry is the manifesto that Kenya Kwanza launched a few days ago. That the manifesto is better than that of Azimio that is why the president is not happy.
On his side the deputy president has once again told his boss that he sidelined him and told him that he want to work alone that is why he stayed aside. The other person is Kiharu member of parliament honourable Ndindi Nyoro who told the president to let Ruto be because he stood with him when people abandoned him. That were it not for Ruto, the president would not have seen statehouse.
The fallout between the president and his deputy came with a lot of political rivalry. The two friends who turned into competitors have now been exchanging words in public without fear or doubt. Those political leaders allied to DP Ruto alleges betrayal from president Uhuru. They are however determined that their presidential candidate will win the elections so that they can show the world that everything is possible in life.
