Deputy President William Ruto is evidently leaving no stones unturned ahead of the presidential race. This is more so following his latest move a day after announcing his running mate.
Deputy President William Ruto has handpicked regional political heavyweights whom main task will be to campaign for Ruto and delivering the August win
Amongst the leaders who have mandated includes Justin Muturi who was in the race for the running mate slot. Speaker JB Muturi will work together with Meru Senator Mithika Linturi where they have been tasked at mobilizing Mount Kenya East votes to Ruto.
They will work handy with Women Representative Beatrice Nkathaa whereby they are expected to hold campaigns as well as meet grassroot leaders on behalf of Ruto.
This thus means that Ruto is still in need of the Mount Kenya East votes despite the fact that he failed to pick Speaker Muturi or Tharaka Nithi Senator Kindiki Kithure who are both from this Eastside
