Political analyst Herman Manyora advises Ruto on what to do before handshake with Uhuru (Video)

Kenya's Deputy President William Ruto has been counseled by political expert Herman Manyara on what to do if he wants to reconcile with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

This comes only days after the deputy president stated that he was willing to accept an unconditional cease-fire with his boss in response to concerns made by a group of prominent Catholic bishops.

If William Ruto is truly wishing to rejoin with his boss ahead of the 2022 elections, the analyst stated three factors that he believes will make the Handshake dream a success for him in his weekly YouTube political analysis program "A matter of time."

This is despite President Uhuru Kenyatta's aides laying out stringent requirements for William Ruto to meet before he can reconcile with his boss, as the two haven't seen eye to eye in months.

The University of Nairobi professor recommended that the DP fold the newly revamped United Democratic Alliance (UDA), cease the existing round of political meetings, and recognize President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga's March 2018 Handshake.

“How will it be known that the reconciliation he seeks with President Uhuru is genuine until he (William Ruto) does the three things listed?” Manyora posed for the camera.

The analyst also recommended Ruto to summon his lieutenants and order them to stop insulting the Head of State.
