Embu Governor Mbarire visits the President- elect at Karen, thanks him for his support in the concluded poll

Newly sworn in Embu Governor Cecily Mbarire paid a courtesy call to president- elect William Ruto today at deputy president's official residence in Karen.

Governor Mbarire thanked the president- elect William Ruto and entire Kenya Kwanza family for immensely supporting his gubernatorial bid on a UDA party ticket.

" I paid a courtesy call to president elect William Ruto where I thanked him for his immense support to me and the entire UDA/ Kenya Kwanza family" posted Cecily Mbarire on her official Facebook page.

The two leaders also issues of concern to the people of Embu county. The issues includes healthcare, agriculture, Muguka sector revival, affordable farm inputs such as fertilizers and appointments of Embu county politicians and professionals to key positions in Kenya Kwanza government.

President elect William Ruto assured the new Embu Governor Cecily Mbarire of continued support after assuming in office.

" He assured me of his continued support to Embu county whe he gets into office" added Mbarire

Governor Mbarire wished the president elect Ruto well in the supreme court petition challenging his presidential victory.

" We wish you well in the petition at supreme court. Our God remains supreme and this too shall pass" added governor Mbarire.

Madam Cecily Mbarire trounced down his close rival, former Embu senator Lenny Kivuti in a hotly contested gubernatorial race to succeed former governor Martin Wambora.
