Migori Governor Okoth Obado yesterday night through his facebook account spoke against the violence that happened at Kondele in kisumu against the deputy president's motorcade.He urged kenyans to embrace peace and Unity as we head towards the electioneering period.He said the incident was uncalled for and asked people in Nyatike,Suna west and Suna East constituencies which are in Migori county to welcome the Dp today and avoid violence.
"The stoning of Deputy President William Ruto's motorcade in Kisumu is unfortunate and uncalled for. We must never allow violence to be part of our society. Migori Governor Okoth Obado had accompanied the deputy president to kisumu county.The deputy president broke history as the only politician ever to conduct campaigns in Kondele without the Company of ODM party leader ,Raila Odinga.The Dp is in kisumu on a three day tour to popularise his bid ahead of the 2022 elections.He is eyeing the country's top seat after Uhuru Kenyatta's term comes to an end.
Most leaders have come out to condemn the violence yesterday and urged kenyans to be tolerant with each other.The stoning of the Dp comes just a few weeks after Raila Odinga was warmly welcomed in Eldoret which is Ruto's home turf.
