Ruto Finished As Plans To Create 73 Constituencies Hatched In Uhuru's Absence

Lawmakers have hatched a plot to cut Deputy President William Ruto to size by stripping his office of its constitutionally guaranteed security of tenure. Through a proposed legislation, the MPs want to create two positions of DP and have them serve at the mercy of the president.

The Constitutional Implementation Oversight Committee, chaired by Ndaragua Member of Parliament Jeremiah Kioni, is also advocating for the creation of an additional 73 more constituencies through the Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill, 2021. Should this is passed, then the number of constituencies will jump from 290 to 363.

The Bill has also proposed creation of the positions of prime minister and two deputies in what appears to be an attempt to salvage the Building Bridges Initiative, BBI.

According to sources within the Parliament the Kioni's bill has been be attributed by the current political situation where the Deputy President William Ruto and his boss, Uhuru Kenyatta do not see eye to eye due to their Political differences.
