According to him, Koome will be the first Kenya's female chief Justice and the President of the supreme Court.

He said going forward, it is their belief that she will undertake crucial reforms in the judiciary, including speeding up the backlog of cases to ensure Justice is dispensed in a timely manner.
Her post attracted several comments from kenyans, Majority of them joined him in Congratulating Lady Martha Koome, incoming Chief justice. Some called upon to follow what Maraga did in Judiciary.
