"Hii Imeenda" KBC Journalist Leaves Kenyans Talking Over How She Greeted DP Gachagua

KBC Channel one journalist left Kenyans talking on Sunday because of how she greeted Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

Nancy Okware was one of the members of the fourth estate that KBC had deployed to Karen to interview Deputy President Rigathi Gachgua.

She was among the few female journalists who attended the interview, which caught the DP's attention at the end of the interview as he noted that next time he would demand the editors to meet the gender balance rule before interviewing him.

Well, what left Kenyans talking on social media is how Nancy Okware greeted the DP.

In a photo that the DP himself shared on his official social media platforms, the talented news anchor cum news reporter used her left hand to complement the right hand as she greeted the DP, a gesture that many Kenyans have interpreted to be a sign of humility and showing a high level of respect to the DP.

Kenyans lauded the news anchor for the same as others made some jokes about it.

This is not the first time Nancy is posing for photos of top government officials. She has been interviewing top and high-profile people in the country, including President William Ruto.

Have a look at what Kenyans said on social media.

@korir_raphael: Hii imeenda!!
