DCI Wants Body Of Senator Linturi's House Help Exhumed For Investigations

The death of the legislators house maid has graduated to new levels as the director of criminal investigation (DCI) wants the body to be exhumed for proper analysis and investigations.

The crime experts have now established that the senator Linturi, is a person of interest in the murder of the house maid who worked for him until her imminent death in 2018.

In the case, activist Michael Makarena petitioned the High Court to compel the DCI to investigate Linturi's involvement in the death of his house help, business partner and his alleged fake degree.

The courts got its response through chief inspector Maurice Amwayi seeking the exhumation of the Edith Kananus body.

The DCI has further indicated their quest for exhumation of the body is to establish the real picture and circumstances that led to the death of Kananu.

They trickled down to allege that what they have as the cause of death are just conjectures from unqualified and non-medical persons but the real report can only be established by a qualified government pathologist.

it has aslo been revealed that linturi intimidated the late next of kin to burry Kananu without a postmortem which could have established the cause of death, in addition to that the legislator has refused to aid the investigation with the provision of required statements.

DCI George Kinoti has been on the receiving end Linturi accusing him of using activist Makarena as his mercenary. Kinoti response was that the transparency of his office can not be questioned and the attacks are politically instigated to the legislator's advantage.
