Kanini Kega Sends a Message After Raila's Tour in Mt. Kenya

Hon Kanini Kega, a Kieni Member of Parliament, has spoken out about the animosity they met in Tharaka Nithi County, when boisterous teenagers attempted to impede Odinga's caravan by blocking highways. Raila Odinga, the former Prime Minister and leader of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), has been in Meru for a few days. Raila Odinga was still in Meru on Tuesday, and subsequently travelled to Tharaka Nithi County, where he spoke briefly to citizens in Chuka Town. Today, however, was a little rough, as a group of young people attempted to interrupt Odinga's rallies in Tharaka Nithi County.

Despite the speculations of turmoil in some parts of Meru County, Kieni Member Of Parliament Hon Kanini Kega has supposedly dismissed them with a quick comment on his Facebook page. Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga would undoubtedly ascend the mountain, according to the outspoken Kieleweke MP. Raila Odinga is counting on President Uhuru Kenyatta's backing to win the mountain.
