The senate found that all the accusations that were made for Kawira Mwangaza were not true and lacked a proper evidence in which the impeachment would be confirmed.
During the impeachment debate at the senate, it was detailed that 67 out of 69 Member of the County Assembly had voted for the impeachment of Meru County Governor Kawira Mwangaza after Abogeta West Member of the National Assembly Hon Dennis Kiogora brought the motion.
Reports have now indicated that one of the Members of the County Assembly who had supported Governor Kawira Mwangaza is now under trouble as he blocked from attending a trip to Tanzania and has been denied to go to attend committee meetings.
