Deputy president William Ruto has camped in Coastal region since Thursday. He has held several empowerment programs in the region and addressed numerous mega rallies. The deputy president is accompanied by UDA allied leaders from the region.
Today the deputy president and his entourage held an empowerment program in Nyali constituency. He met small enterprise traders for an empowerment program. The event took place at Kongowea market in Nyali constituency.
Speaking during the rally, Nyali legislator Mohammed Ali intensified his scathing attacks to Mombasa governor Hassan Joho. The vocal legislator said that the governor and his team has failed Mombasa county. He said that the governor gave Mombasa people fake promises.
The Nyali legislator has been blaming Mombasa governor Hassan Joho for failing the region and amassing wealth for him himself and his family. The fearless legislator told governor Joho that his time in the county has come to an end. He further dismissed Raila Odinga Azimio La Umoja campaign.
